Crack Whore

OK, so it really has been interesting, and I feel the need to blog about this. For those of you that know this story, I apologize, and for those that have yet to hear it....sit down. It was Wednesday the 7th of May, and I had finally went to bed at 10pm, Raul on the other hand stayed up to find his mother's plane ticket online, and was on the couch. Needless to say, he fell asleep (minus the plane ticket). I had left my bedroom window open that night, because I just needed the fresh air. At 1:50am I was waken by the sound of someone pounding and screaming. It was coming from outside, and this person was screaming, "Lord help me! They are gonna kill me!". I thought for sure I was dreaming. You see this person was pounding on my neighbors door, who are like 80 years old, and this person made their way to our front door and proceeded to do the same thing. By now I am shaking really bad, Raul is screaming at this person to get the F*** away from our door and Lou is going absolutely mad. I don't know what possessed Raul to do it, but he cracked the door to look out, and here stood this black woman all but 5 feet tall, holding the back of her head, screaming "Please help me they shot me in my head!" Raul proceeded to tell her to hang on not to leave and that he was going to help her. He shut the door, screamed to me to call the cops, and he ran to get his gun. He ran outside through the kitchen door, at which time Dad and Dulce came barreling through the basement because they heard all the commotion. Dad was in the living room with her and was very good at keeping her in the front entry way and not letting her pass through the house....how the Hell did we know what she had, who she was, and where she came from. This whole time, I am on the phone with 911 and they are asking me questions to ask this person. From what she had answered, this what we found out. She was picked up at 19th and Center...here in Milwaukee, that is not only the hood, but it also where they go to hook. These guys drove her all the way over to our alley, told her to get out, told her to get down on her knees, and they shot her in the back of the head, and shoulder. Dad looked at the shot wounds, and said that if that one in her neck would have been an inch to the left or up, she would have been dead. The response time from the cops was like 4 minutes. Super fast for Milwaukee if you ask me. And man was I super grateful! So if you think that was enough drama and that it is over, you better stay seated. As the cops and fire department are pulling up, this woman throws something at my Dad and says, " Get rid of this for me, I got warrants out for my arrest and I am on probation!" And she proceeds to throw a crack pipe on my couch! So my Dad did get rid of it. He called a really nice officer into my home, and he kindly removed it for us. Needless to say we didn't get back to sleep that morning, or day, and didn't even go to sleep until 11pm that night. When we watched to news that day, we did find our house on the news, and we found out that she had already been released from the hospital. So she was fine. Then she was arrested. For what? For drug possession. This is totally a true story. Even though I wish it NEVER happened....it is all true. Damn Crack Whore!

It's been awhile

So I have been told that I have to update my blog! So much fort he theory of doing it once a week! I guess that I just got caught up in life. We are all fine, and happy that spring is somewhat here. At least there is no more snow! Raul and the kids got me a new digital camera that I can actually work for Mother's Day/Birthday present, and I love it! It is so easy to work. Here are a few pics that I have so far....
